Barron Software is the free-software shelf of Barron AI Solutions. We build the kind of tools companies usually rent — then we give them away so you can run them yourself.
The bet
Not a funnel into seats
Most “free” software is a funnel into a seat count. We flipped it. The product is free and self-hosted. The paid work is the custom system only you need — portals, internal tools, integrations nobody else will touch.
If Cove (or the next tool) earns trust on your machine, you already know how we build. That is the portfolio. Not a slide deck.

Who builds it
Shane Barron — Plant City, Florida. Forty years from an Atari 65XE to an LLC. Barron AI Solutions is the company; Barron Software is the open shelf under that roof. The work is hands-on: real installs, real security, no vapor.
Written channels only when you reach us. A human answers. No sales script, no phone tree.
What “free” means here
You download it. You host it. Your data stays on your disk. We do not phone home. We do not meter seats. When something breaks or you want a feature only your shop needs — that is a conversation, not a plan upgrade.
